Inauguration

This day marks the beginning. The republic of Greggoria has been born. Let's see where we can take it. i will be posting as often as physically possible. i will post with the following quote by Lucy Lippard, in the catalogue "Art and Ideology" exhibition at the New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York. 1984: " It is understood by now that all art is ideological and all art is used politically by the right or the left, with the conscious and unconscious assent of the artist. There is no nuetral zone. Artist who remain stubbornly uninformed about the social and emotional effects of their images and their connections to other images outside the context are most easily manipulated by the prevailing systems of distribution, interpretation, and marketing."
